Music at Co-Cath (MACC) isn’t your average church choir

Based out of a stunning cathedral in the heart of Prospect Heights, MACC blends live music, storytelling, and a little bit of theatrical magic to create immersive concert experiences unlike anything else in the city. Think choral theater meets sacred space, where the echoes of Renaissance masterpieces live alongside bold new works.

Led by Artistic Director Alejandro Zuleta and Associate Director Cristina María Castro, MACC reimagines what sacred music can be: welcoming, multicultural, and full of life. Every performance is free and open to all, transforming the Co-Cathedral into a gathering place where people of all backgrounds can experience beauty, community, and connection through sound.

Whether you’ve never been to a choir concert in your life or you’re just looking for something that moves you in a new way, MACC invites you in. Come for the music, stay for the atmosphere, and leave feeling inspired.
